Nurus officials saw Microsoft Business Solutions’ (MBS) Axapta and Navision applications during a business trip abroad and when MBS started in Turkey and Axapta became available, decided to examine the solution. Renan Gökyay comments as follows: “In May 2003, we started to examine Axapta with a team of five; and in October we decided that it was suitable for our needs and shook hands with MBS. Given that we are a company that built its own MRP, our decision process was of course different than most of the other companies. We knew our needs very well and what we could and could not do and while examining Axapta we were careful and demanding.”
